Is my data really private — or is this marketing?
It's architectural. Your PDFs are stored only on your device. Document text is sent to AI per-request and discarded immediately after the response — there's no server-side storage. There are no analytics, no tracking, and your documents are never used to train AI models. You can generate a Privacy Report from Settings to verify exactly what the app does.
Is the AI good enough for serious study?
ParsleyPDF uses Google Gemini with a 1M token context window — large enough for entire textbooks. Responses are optimized for study with page citations, structured summaries, and explained quiz answers, not general chat.
Why not just paste text into ChatGPT?
Copy-paste loses formatting, page references, and document structure — and you lose them again on every new conversation. ParsleyPDF extracts text intelligently, preserves page citations, and generates quizzes with explanations. It's a study system, not a workaround.
Does it work offline?
