1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Zeynep Nur Asker ("we"), the publisher of ParsleyPDF. By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your download from the App Store; where the two conflict, these terms govern your relationship with us.
2. The app & your license
ParsleyPDF is a study app for iPhone and iPad that lets you chat with, summarize, quiz yourself on, and search PDF documents using on-device AI. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, in line with the App Store rules. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits it.
3. The free tier
The free tier includes the app's full AI feature set — unlimited chat, summaries, and quizzes — on a library of up to 3 documents at a time. You can delete a document to make room for another. We may adjust what the free tier includes in future versions, but we will not retroactively remove access to documents already on your device.
4. Pro purchases
Pro removes the library limit and adds multi-document chat (up to 3 documents at once). It is available two ways, both billed by Apple:
- Lifetime unlock — $29.99 one-time. A single purchase tied to your Apple ID. It never expires, never renews, and includes all future updates to the app. Use Restore Purchases in the app's settings to re-activate it on a new device signed into the same Apple ID.
- Subscription — $4.99/month. Auto-renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device; access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal prevents the next charge.
Prices are shown in USD; your local price and any taxes are set and displayed by the App Store before you confirm. If you subscribed to Pro before version 3.0, your active subscription continues to unlock Pro.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we never receive your payment and cannot issue refunds directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. AI accuracy
ParsleyPDF's answers, summaries, and quizzes are generated by an on-device AI model and are provided as an educational aid. Like all AI output, they can be incomplete, outdated relative to your document's context, or simply wrong — even when they cite a page. Always verify important information against the source document itself. Do not rely on AI output alone for medical, legal, financial, safety-related, or exam-critical decisions.
6. Device requirements
The app requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence: an iPhone 15 Pro or later, or an iPad with A17 Pro or M1 and later, running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence enabled in system settings. On-device AI availability and supported languages are determined by Apple and may vary by region. We are not responsible for AI features being unavailable on unsupported hardware or where Apple Intelligence is not offered.
7. Your content
Your documents are yours. We claim no rights over anything you import, scan, or generate in the app, and — because everything stays on your device — we never receive a copy. You are responsible for having the right to use the documents you process, and for backing them up (for example with iCloud or a computer backup). Deleting the app permanently deletes its data.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the app to violate the law or third-party rights, and don't attempt to misuse, disrupt, or misrepresent the app. That's the whole list — since there are no servers or shared services, there is very little you could break for anyone else.
9. Warranty & liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and nothing reduces any mandatory consumer rights you hold in your country of residence.
10. Changes
We may update these terms when the app or the law changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and meaningful changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies instead.
